What we sell

  • Foul Weather Whip V2 antennas (hand-built and tuned in San Diego, NiTinol radiator that won't sag in the cold, BNC male, ~3.5 dBi, 50 W, submersible). Three listings: Ham (2m/70cm, 220 MHz, 70cm monoband), GMRS/MURS (154 & 465 MHz, GMRS 6 in monoband) and Public Safety (local police 154/465, SAR/wildland fire 155, federal 168 MHz).
  • Vehicle antennas and mounts: Tough Whip NMO dual band antenna, NMO mag mount and trunk/hood mount.
  • Mesh antennas for Meshtastic, MeshCore, RNode and HaLow on 902-928 MHz: V2 Mesh Whip (BNC), Mesh Goose Neck (SMA), The Stubby.
  • Hytera DMR radios for business and public safety: HP682, HP782, HP702 (including UL913 intrinsically safe), HP602, PD402i portables, HM782/HM682/HM652 mobiles, HR652 repeater, plus AES-256 and feature licenses. Radios ship programmed.
  • RF adapters (SMA, BNC, SO239, N-type), cables, power and merch.

Key compatibility guidance

  • Most handheld radios need an SMA-to-BNC adapter for Foul Weather antennas. SMA gender is set by the center pin, not the threads: a pin on the radio means an SMA Female to BNC Female adapter (Baofeng, BK/KNG BKR5000, Motorola APX); a hole means an SMA Male to BNC Female adapter (Yaesu, older BK, most mesh devices).
  • The 2m/70cm Ham antenna also works on FRS/MURS/GMRS. The GMRS/MURS antenna does not cover 2m/70cm ham.
  • Foul Weather antennas are not for Meshtastic; use the mesh antennas.
  • The NMO mag mount is not compatible with the Foul Weather Whip.
