The Foul Weather Whip V2 for GMRS and MURS. A rugged, hand-built BNC whip that won't sag in the cold, thanks to a 1.6 mm NiTinol radiator. Every antenna is hand made and tuned in-house in San Diego, California, using components from American small businesses.

GMRS / MURS Dual Band: tuned 154 & 465 MHz (±15 MHz). Covers GMRS, MURS and FRS.
GMRS Monoband 6 in: tuned 465 MHz (±15 MHz). Shorter, UHF only.

FAQ

Which radios does it fit? Any radio with a BNC port, or SMA radios with an adapter: Baofeng, BTECH, Quansheng and similar GMRS/FRS handhelds.

Do I need an adapter? Yes, for about 99% of handhelds. SMA gender is set by the center pin, not the threads. If your radio's antenna port has a pin, use the SMA Female to BNC Female adapter (Baofeng and similar). If it has a hole, use the SMA Male to BNC Female adapter (Yaesu and similar).

Will it work on 2m/70cm ham? No. This antenna is tuned for GMRS/MURS only. The Ham version covers 2m/70cm and also works on GMRS/MURS.

Will it work for Meshtastic? No. See the Mesh antennas.

Can it be submerged? Yes, it's submersible for marine and foul weather use.
