It has a base loaded coil that gives it low SWR across all the channels. The base coil is ground plane independent which allows the user to not affect the tune of the antenna no matter where its held or worn.

No — Not recommended. It can get wet in rain, but it is not recommended to put it under water.

Yes. Meshtastic, Meshcore, OpenManet projects and anything using teh 902-928 ISM band.
